Ameristar Casino & Hotel
Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo of Marina Del Rey, California recently partnered with Ameristar Casinos of Las Vegas, Nevada to provide an upscale art and mirror package for two new-build hotels in Iowa. Sandi Brown, Senior Project Designer for WATG worked closely with Graphic Encounter to provide the design vision for these hotels which would bring an upscale contemporary environment forward. Once the tone and color palette was selected for the projects, Graphic Encounter’s team of resourceful art consultants reached out to a variety of artisans who submitted examples of their work for WATG’s comments and review. Upon WATG’s design team’s approval, Graphic Encounter had several artists create original artwork which Graphic Encounter then custom framed in the specified wood mouldings in their production facility located in southern California. Once the sample pieces were approved by WATG’s client, Ameristar Casino’s purchasing department, located in Las Vegas, Nevada issued purchase orders for both projects for shipment to take place immediately. Upon the receipt of the purchase orders, Graphic Encounter imported the various wood mouldings from Brazil and Italy and had them shipped directly to their southern California production facility. Production went smoothly and Graphic Encounter met the requirements of shipping the artwork and mirrors on time. All WATG team members on the project were pleased with the result and enjoyed working with a company (Graphic Encounter) that helped them realize their design vision, ensured smooth and efficient project management, and delivered the highest quality products on time and within budget. Sandi Brown wrote Graphic Encounter a letter of recommendation upon completion of the project and said, “I wish to express my sincere gratitude for the superb service that you (Ron) and your team have provided to me on so many projects and most recently for the Ameristar Corporation. Your timely execution has enabled us to meet the demanding deadlines that are required in today’s marketplace.
