Nordstrom Café Bistro

Engstrom Design Group of San Rafael California contacted Graphic Encounter to help them establish the contemporary interior decor for the newly designed Nordstrom Cafe Bistro in both Santa Ana California and San Antonio Texas. Graphic Encounter's team of talented art consultants wanted a unique environment for the cafe. After receiving a broad selection of both modern and contemporary imagery they focused on the unique limited edition giclees of Kim Coulter, an artist with whom Graphic Encounter has worked with on installations in the past. Ms. Barnett, of the Engstrom Design Group, liked the images Graphic Encounter suggested and from that point on Graphic Encounter's art consultants worked closely with Kim Coulter for the exact colors, paper stock and image size required.

Subsequent to the image being created, Graphic Encounter suggested the framing schemas for Ms. Barnett's review. A reveal prominently displayed the artist signature while the image was given a deckle edge to add texture and float mounted on a linen mat to add more dimension. Upon Ms. Barnett's approval Graphic Encounter ordered the solid wood moulding for the custom framing of each piece in the state of the art production facility located in California.

Production went smoothly and Graphic encounter met the requirement of boxing and packaging in such a way to insure the safe delivery of the custom framed limited editions with in the specified time of delivery. Nordstrom's was pleased with the results and enjoyed working with a company that helped them realize their design vision, ensure smooth efficient project management and delivered the highest quality products on time with in a budget.
